Speaker 1: Michael Streeter (Director, Integrity Strategy & Policy, Wiley)

Mike Streeter leads Wiley’s work in implementing best practices and policy for ethics and integrity in Wiley’s research portfolio; he champions quality and transparency in journals publishing. He has worked in academic publishing for the last seventeen years and through that experience recognizes the value of close collaboration and communication with our communities.

Speaker 2: Lyn Horn (Director, Office of Research Integrity, University of Cape Town)

Lynn Horn is a medical doctor with a PhD in Bioethics. In 2022 she was the South African Co-Chair for the 7th World Conference on Research Integrity held in Cape Town and led the project to develop the main output of that conference, namely The Cape Town Statement on Fostering Research Integrity through Fairness, Equity and Diversity.

Moderator: Michael Willis (Researcher Advocate, Wiley)

Michael has worked in publishing for nearly 25 years. He champions the needs and aspirations of editors, reviewers and authors within journal editorial and peer review processes, advising and speaking on research integrity, publishing ethics, diversity, equity and inclusion, and researcher behaviour. Michael is content and delivery lead for the Wiley-SANLiC Author Engagement Programme.
