Meghan studied chemistry at Northwestern University (USA) and then completed her PhD in biochemistry at Johns Hopkins University (USA), studying chemical modifications of triplex-forming oligonucleotides. Additionally, she did a PostDoc at the University of Southern Denmark in the chemistry/biochemistry of aptamers.
She joined Wiley in 2012, where she worked for Angewandte Chemie and ChemBioChem. After four years at the University of Bonn, teaching science communication, she returned to Wiley in 2022 as Editor-in-Chief of Chemistry & Biodiversity and in 2024 became Deputy Editor of ChemistryOpen.
